Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up for Manchester United's Premier League tussle with Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford this afternoon, making a cluster of changes.
United, who have lost each of their last three league meetings with the Seagulls, will be looking to get back to winning ways after being beaten 3-1 by Arsenal prior to the international break.
Despite taking the lead through Marcus Rashford, the Reds were sentenced to defeat as a result of goals from Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus.
It means that Ten Hag will be determined to see a strong response from his players, who have had to deal with a lot of background noise in the build-up to this afternoon's showdown.
