Maguire - who lost his place in the United team last season and was removed as captain this summer - made two appearances for England last week.
The 30-year-old generally fared well and was unfortunate to turn into his own net during a 3-1 victory over neighbours Scotland at Hampden Park.
Goals from Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and former United target Harry Kane settled the scores for England in that 150th year Heritage match.
