Ruth Langsford called her husband Eamonn Holmes out on Friday's This Morning. The TV favourites, both 60, shared a moment of tension after Eamonn was gifted a platter of cherries and a note about fruit flies from Love Fresh Cherries.
As he read out the information on fruit flies he then came across a sentence stating that the pesky bugs are indigenous and before Ruth even said anything he decided to mansplain the definition.
Mansplaining is when a male comments or explains something to a woman in a condescending, overconfident, and oversimplified manner. "Following last Friday's This Morning show with Eamonn and Ruth, Love Fresh Cherries wanted to share some further information on fruit flies," Eamonn started.
