Since taking to the presenting helm of This Morning earlier this month, Cat Deeley has been 'relying' on Ben Shephard to lead the way during the show, body language expert Darren Stanton has revealed.
Explaining that Cat, 47, has "grown in confidence" since joining the show, Darren details how Ben, 49, is the one leading the way when it comes to co-host duties. "While I do think Cat has grown in confidence, she still relies on Ben to an extent. They’re not yet on par with each other.
At the moment, Ben is very much the lead anchor of the show and gives Cat confidence, which is clear," he said. Continuing: "However, I do think there will be a shift eventually and they will become equals.
Cat is developing in leaps and bounds in terms of the space she occupies, levels of confidence and banter. It’s going to take time for them to mold into their roles, but it will definitely get there.” Adding that any signs of nervousness from Cat's side appear to have gone, Darren shared that she has certainly settled in.
