Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

This Morning issues statement on Ruth Langsford’s future on the show after husband Eamonn Holmes quit

THIS Morning have said Ruth Langsford will remain on the show without Eamonn Holmes. The ITV show issued a statement after speculation that the 61-year-old presenter would follow her husband out of the door.

But today a spokesperson insisted she would "remain an important member of the This Morning family". The pair have appeared on the show for 15 years including as the hosts of the Friday edition.

However, they were replaced in that slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary at the start of the year. A spokeswoman for ITV said of Ruth, who also hosts Loose Women: "We would like to wish Eamonn all of the very best in his new role.
