This Morning fans all say the same thing as Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley make debut

Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard made their This Morning debut on Monday, 11 March, as the new hosts of the popular ITV morning show.The news of their much-anticipated appointment came in February after months of speculation over who would be taking over from Phillip Schofield, who left the show in May last year, and Holly Willoughby, who resigned in October after 14 years.

As soon as the pair were announced as the new hosts, viewers were keen to see the new presenters in action - but they had to wait until today so give their verdicts on the new line-up.

Taking to X (Twitter) to deliver their review, one viewer said: “Lovely to see This Morning in a classy new era”. Another commented, “I know some people might disagree, but I believe Ben and Kat would be my dream presenting couple on #ThisMorning Best of luck to them.” “Welcome Ben and Cat to This Morning family I’m thrilled that your finally hosting #ThisMorning," added a third, while a fourth commented on their great chemistry, writing: “You really gel together.TV history in the making #thismorning”.

After ITV released its official statement announcing him and Cat as the new permanent hosts, Ben said: “This really feels like a very special moment for Cat and I to be part of the next chapter of This Morning. “It’s an honour to be trusted with the reins, join Alison and Dermot and all the team that work on and off screen and do such a great job.
