ITV's This Morning is no stranger to a healthy debate, with plenty of topics ranging from health to politics having been discussed on the flagship morning show over the years.
However a recent discussion about weight left many viewers at home seething, when regular guest Nick Ferrari said that being overweight is always a person's own fault.
During Tuesday's show (26 March), Nick shared, "I'm fat! Of course I am - there's no point denying it. It's not because I was abused as a child or I have gene problems or whatever it might be.
I don't exercise enough and I enjoy red wine so I am fat, I am overweight. I don't care! You can't insult me and I accept that is my issue." The comments formed part of a wider discussion by Nick and fellow guest Anushka Asthana, who talked about whether it's okay to tell someone they're too heavy.
