Sam Hunt notches his seventh No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, as "Hard to Forget" rises 2-1 on the list dated July 25.
The song gained by 3 percent to 31.5 million in audience in the week ending July 19, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.The song, which Hunt penned with Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, marks Hunt's second straight Country Airplay leader, following "Kinfolks" in February.
Both songs are from his second LP, Southside.Hunt first topped Country Airplay with his debut hit "Leave the Night On," for a week in November 2014, and added three more one-week No.
