Cinemark’s stock had tumbled nearly 6% to $11.68, its lowest level since May 15. Marcus fell 2% to $12.24. Shares in Imax, a diversified company grouped by investors with exhibitors given its portfolio of large-format theaters, dropped 3% to $10.52.
In-theater advertising firm National CineMedia slipped 3% to $2.93.On the London Stock Exchange, shares in UK-based Regal Cinemas parent Cineworld dipped 4% to $64.08, their lowest point since May 22.
