There has been a casting shake-up for the upcoming second season of The Witcher. Thue Ersted Rasmussen was previously announced as one of the new cast members for season two, but he had to drop out of the series due to scheduling conflicts caused by COVID-19 pandemic. Basil Eidenbenz (pictured on the left), who was previously seen in the PBS Masterpiece series Victoria, will take on the role of Witcher Eskel and he has already begun filming his scenes, according to Deadline.
