The Queen's Christmas speech will this year be broadcast on Amazon's Alexa for the first time ever. Anyone who owns a Amazon smart device will be able to ask voice-controlled assistant Alexa to play the speech in full from 3pm on Christmas Day.

All you have to say is 'Alexa, play the Queen's Christmas Day message' or 'Alexa, play Queen Elizabeth's Christmas Day message'.

It will work on Amazon Echo speakers across the Commonwealth which have language settings as British English, American, Australian, Canadian or Indian varieties of English, reports Mail Online.
