The One Show's Alex Jones has revealed she has an exciting new career prospect on the horizon, moving from TV to radio.Starting next month, the 43-year-old presenter will be hosting her own show on BBC Radio Wales.Born in the idyllic town of Ammanford, Wales, the mum-of-one will be making a return to her roots to produce the new series.Breaking the news to her fans, she declared: "I'm so excited to get my headphones back on for BBC Radio Wales and to play some of my favourite songs."There is something so special about radio."The connection you can have with the listeners and there's something extra special about talking to people in Wales."Alex isn't the only Welsh broadcaster that has proven a hit with listeners – Countdown's Carol.
