It’s rushed, it’s stressful and it’s utterly horrible for them being cooped up too. When you’re working, the luxury of just popping out for a break with them or playing in the garden or having a tv break together doesn’t exist.
Working from home doesn’t look like that. Working from home is actually having to work. It isn’t fitting work in around home-schooling.
Equally, and crucially, a child’s care, education and stimulation isn’t something you can just fit in around work – they deserve better and need more than that.
