If there's one thing that brings people together its food. That's why one charity is using cooking to tackle loneliness this autumn.
The Soil Association is passionate about food insecurity and loneliness and they want people from all walks of life to get involved within their communities.
Starting on World Food Day on Saturday, October 16 until Tuesday, November 16, 2021, community groups, schools, children’s centres, faith groups, and more will be getting busy in the kitchen and making food to share with each other.
If you've not heard of the event, don't worry — there's still time to get involved. Anyone can take part in Cook and Share Month by signing up for free.
