Since posting the video two days ago it’s already amassed more than 200,000 views, 11,000 likes and over a 100 comments. The account Peaks & Pubs said that he’s been going to the pub “for years” but they decided to share it on their account instead of gatekeeping.
They praised the pub’s close proximity to Dovestone Reservoir, its cosy fire and excellent drinks selection. Describing the pub, located on Running Hill Gate, as a “if you know you know” type place, he said: “It’s just a short eight minute drive from the popular Dovestone Reservoir in Saddleworth. “There’s plenty of classic bar snacks to choose from and the draught selection is huge, even offering 0 per cent beers like Lucky Saint.
