Now Oscar-nominated British thespian Lesley Manville is reported to take over from Helena Bonham Carter as the monarch's feisty younger sister, Princess Margaret, Coutness of Snowdon.
Manville is well known for her work with director Mike Leigh, the Maleficent films, cancer drama Ordinary Love, and her widely celebrated turn opposite Daniel Day-Lewis in Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread.
