Margaret Qualley has revealed she was “not popular” at school because of her commitment to environmental issues. The Emmy-nominated star of Fosse/Verdon and Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood told Hunger Magazine she used to put up posters of cows being led to slaughter and go through rubbish bins at school as she wanted to curb her impact on the environment.
Speaking to Hunger, the magazine edited by British photographer Rankin, the 25-year-old said: “I was not a popular kid. I used to put up signs of cows being slaughtered in my North Carolina high school and I would rummage through the trash in the cafeteria to separate recycling. "I’m definitely [climate] conscious and it’s definitely something I think about.
