The Trotters were due to be in action yesterday against the Ammies at the Peninsula Stadium. But the League Two clash was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

It means Bolton have had two matches postponed following adverse weather conditions in the space of five days, after the midweek away trip to Mansfield Town called off too.

The Trotters are next in action this Tuesday evening at the University of Bolton Stadium against Morecambe. As the previous two games have been postponed, it means the club's January transfer window deadline day signings are still awaiting their debuts.

Midfielder MJ Williams has joined on an 18-month deal after leaving Blackpool, while Lukas Jensen, Marcus Maddison and Oladapo Afolayan will all be at Wanderers.
