The Trotters strengthened in the goalkeeping department on transfer deadline day with Lukas Jensen being brought in on loan until the end of the season from Premier League side Burnley.
Crellin is also on loan at the Trotters from League One side Fleetwood Town. But he has not played for the club since the FA Cup loss to Crewe Alexandra in early November.
Since then, veteran Matt Gilks, who is also Bolton's goalkeeping coach, has had the number one jersey. Jensen has been brought in to challenge Gilks for the place between the sticks.
Evatt admitted that discussions had been taking place with the Cod Army over a potential recall for Crellin, owing to his lack of game time.But the Bolton manager insists that just because Crellin is not.
