FURIOUS fans of The Apprentice have claimed the winner was "picked from the start" in a new fix row. Viewers took to Twitter in their droves to complain that the business plans at the start of the show gave Harpreet Kaur a kickstart.

Last night, Harpreet, 30 - who owns a six-figure coffee and cake business, was crowned the winner of the BBC One competition.

The businesswoman was awarded £250,000 from Lord Alan Sugar to pour into her new sweets business, Oh So Yum. However, fans felt that the ruling was unfair, and that Harpreet had been hand-picked from the start and given a head start.

Viewers suggested that Lord Sugar, 74, and his team of aides had likely "read her business plan" before the competition got under way. "Total fix, you obviously read their business plan at the beginning and decide straight away who your winner is going to be," one scathed.
