Leading supermarkets are bracing themselves for an increase in delivery slot requests over the next few months. Not only is the build-up to Christmas always intense, but thousands are shielding or in self-isolation.

Delivery bookings are already becoming more and more popular as the days go by - but additional rules are now in place. The threat of another lockdown still looms so supermarkets such as Tesco, Iceland, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose and Co-op have updated their delivery service guidelines to keep all their customers in the picture.

Here are the full rules for six of the leading stores, as reported by MyLondon. Asda Asda is offering same-day delivery if you order online before 12pm.
