Temperatures in Scotland to soar next week after period of heavy rain

Temperatures are also expected to stay within touching distance of 20C elsewhere in Scotland.It will be a welcome relief for Scots, after wet and blustery conditions dominated the skies for much of August.
Parts of Scotland saw ‘ biblical ’ floods as storms Ellen and Francis descended on mainly eastern and northern areas of the country.
But, the Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for rain in north western parts of the country over this weekend.
