A teenager was found with a serious stab wound and was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he remains in a stable condition.A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 2:30pm this afternoon (Monday 8 June 2020), police were called to reports of a man being stabbed on Old Lane. "Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound.
He remains there in a stable condition. "No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. "If anyone has any information, please call police on 0161 856 5187, quoting incident number 1419 of 08/06/2020.
