Teenager badly hurt as gang beat him in sickening racist attack

Bolton. The 19-year-old victim was riding his bicycle along St Helens Road, close to the junction with Plodder Lane, when he was approached by three teenagers at about 4.30pm on Friday, January 8.The gang then abused him with racist comments and assaulted him, say officers.Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital with head and facial injuries.

He has since been discharged.Greater Manchester Police are now appealing for information about the 'completely unprovoked' assault.The attackers are described as being white boys, aged in their late teens.One of the boys is described as having brown hair and stubble on his chin.
