dog who was stolen from outside a pensioner's house in broad daylight has been returned at night after an emotional Facebook appeal by the owner.
Daisy the cocker spaniel was last seen on 18 January being taken away by a man in a white Ford Transit pickup truck outside her home in Kent.The alleged dognapping was captured on video by a neighbour's dash cam at 8.50am.Daisy's owner Pam Nash, 76, made an emotional appeal on social media and an investigation was launched by police to bring her home.Their efforts have paid off, as Daisy was reunited with her family on Tuesday night.
In a Facebook post Ms Nash, a retired lecturer, wrote: "Daisy is now home. Returned overnight. Thank you to everyone who helped us get her back.
