Teacher banned from classroom after threatening to 'kick student's head in'

science teacher who pinned a special needs pupil against a wall and punched another boy in the face has lost his claim for unfair dismissal.Dr Mohsin Patel was sacked from Belmont School, for boys aged five to 18 with special needs in Rawtenstall, Lancs after he was involved in two physical altercations with boys in two separate incidents - just two weeks apart.He was dismissed but took his case to an employment tribunal where it was heard he had physically restrained pupils at the fee-paying school, LancsLive reports.The first incident was witnessed by a taxi escort employed to take a pupil, referred to as "DR," to and from the school who claims they saw "DR beiung pushed very forcibly against the wall in his classroom by his teacher Dr Patel" and referred the incident to the council.When interviewed about the incident, DR said: "He (me and Mr Patel) banged into each other, I’m not sure if it was on purpose or not.

He followed me aggressively and I turned around."When I turned around he pushed me into he wall by putting his hands on my shoulders.
