Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has donated more than £23,000 to aid a Tottenham teenager in her dream of studying Mathematics at university.
The Cardigan singer, 30, made the donation after being moved reading the story of Vitoria Mario, 18, who failed to qualify for maintenance loans and grants to study a degree in Mathematics at the University of Warwick.
Despite more than meeting her conditional offer with an A*A*A in my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, Vitoria failed to qualify for maintenance loans and grants, making it impossible to attend and study her dream course.
