Two thugs who got into a pub brawl then kicked an innocent takeaway delivery driver in the head left their victim with brain damage.

Luke Dunlin, 33, and Alistair Neal, 28, launched the brutal attack outside a nursing home in Hull and later tried to claim they had mistaken the victim for another man they had fought in a pub earlier that night.

They picked on the driver who was making a delivery in the area after the pair had gotten into a fight with another man at the Tiger's Lair boozer.

A court heard how the victim found himself suddenly targeted by the duo at around 10pm on June 11, 2018, Hull Live reports. Mark Kellett, prosecuting, told Hull Crown Court on Friday that after he called the customer and made his way to the front door,
