Far Cry 6 on PS4 are reporting that they’re unable to upgrade to the PS5 version due to receiving Russian versions of the game.This isn’t the first time Ubisoft has sent players the wrong version of a game. As initially reported by Eurogamer, these Russian discs don’t affect the gameplay, but they do prevent UK owners from upgrading to the latest version of the game unless they switch to a Russian PSN account.

Far Cry 6 appear to be teasing some multiplayer projects within the franchise.Originally spotted by YouTuber JorRaptor (via The Loadout), QR codes present in the game can be scanned with a phone, which then reveal different easter eggs and cryptic videos. The video from JorRaptor showcases where the QR codes can be found in the game, and what they reveal.A scannable code from a crate in the game leads to a video with a cartoon revolver chamber and what looks to be some sort of in-game map.

Ubisoft has confirmed that the Doktor’s Curse Halloween event will make a comeback as a “revamp” this year, giving Rainbow Six Siege fans who missed it in 2019 a chance to try again.The return of Doktor’s Curse was announced on Friday (October 8) through a spooky trailer that parodies a bunch of older horror movie tropes.As well as confirming that the mode will be returning to Rainbow Six Siege, the trailer also notes that the returning Halloween event will be a “revamp” to the original game mode.In 2019, Doktor’s Curse was a 5v5 game mode for Rainbow Six Siege, where one team played as hunters and the other as monsters on a modified version of the Theme Park map.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Ubisoft is letting fans own the original game for free, as well as DLC (downloadable content) for the series’ sequels.As announced yesterday (October 5) via the official Ubisoft website, fans will be able to redeem Ghost Recon, as well as the Fallen Ghosts DLC for Wildlands and Deep State Adventure for Breakpoint for free via the Ubisoft Connect PC launcher.The offer runs from October 5 to October 11 but once redeemed, they can be downloaded and played anytime. The latter however are DLC giveaways, so players would still need to own the base version of Wildlands and Breakpoint.That’s not all.
