Hooters girls complain about sexy tights 'rule' – and diner chain faces backlash
TikTok user @kenzjee, who works as a waitress at the restaurant chain, demonstrated purchasing the hosiery from a vending machine in the restaurant bathroom. The $5 (£3.70) tights, which come in different skin tone colours, must be worn as part of the uniform, which also consists of tiny orange shorts and a low-cut white shirt with the Hooters logo on it.And many TikTok viewers were stunned to find out that the tights weren't provided by the company and that waitresses had to pay for them themselves.Talking on the video, @kenzjee said: "People always ask me about our tights machine and I have to buy tights today so I'll just make a video about it."In the clip, which has now been viewed more than 4.7million times, she inserted a five dollar bill into a vending machine that sold the tights. She then chose the size and skin tone colour that she wanted before getting her pair. The vending machine was made by a company called Peavey Hosiery, which charges $8.49 (£6.30) for the same tights - called Suntan Hosiery - on its website. So at least they get them a little cheaper, we guess.Kenzjee explained that the reason Hooters doesn't give employees the tights for free is because they are considered 'undergarments,' so they have to 'sell them through a third party company.'She also said that the item of clothing is tax deductible as a work-related expense. However, many people still said that the company should not make their employees pay for the tights if they are required as part of the uniform. Some even blasted them the firm in the comment section. One exclaimed: "It's a company uniform, so company should pay for it.

Andi Peters in awkward mishap as he 'forgets' Christine Lampard replaced Lorraine
Lorraine Kelly hosts her self-titled show five days a week, though she famously takes her time off during the half term.Usually, Christine Lampard will take over Lorraine's hosting duties for the week, much to many viewers' joy, but Andi Peters seemed to forget. On Wednesday morning Andi was seen in Paris while leading up his usual competition segment, and as he started speaking to Christine about the fact that he's in France and making the most of it.After telling viewers about what they could win if they enter the usual ITV competition, he confessed he had bought a padlock - but with Lorraine's initials on.Standing by lovelock bridge in Paris, he pulled out the padlock which had the letters A.P and L.K engraved into it.Andi confessed that he completely forgot that Christine was on the show as he quickly attempted to rectify the awkward blunder and pulled out a pen.He said: "Christine, I didn't know you were on this week, poor planning, so I had a padlock made but since as we now know after yesterday that Frank doesn't watch, I'll just cross that out and put C.L. Look at that! Now you're talking Christine." Andi proceeded to put their padlock on the bridge with the permanent marker finish of Christine's initials. However, the lock won't look entirely out of place as many people purchase the locks and write their names or initials with a permanent marker too.Christine was definitely happy to be back on screens while Lorraine is taking some deserved time away and relaxing during the half term.
