'I caught neighbour throwing dog poo on my drive so I posted it back to her'
Sasha Poldmaa, from New Zealand, was left scratching her head when she noticed dog poo scattered in front of her house over the course of three days.So she studied footage from her security camera to find out which neighbour was throwing excrement on her driveway. She was certain the droppings couldn't be from her dogs as they were locked in the kennels during the day when she was at work."My dogs don't roam, they're not roaming dogs", Sasha said in a now-viral TikTok video where she rolls the CCTV."So I set my iPad up to film what's been happening during the day.""This old lady from next door comes with some s*** in her shovel and she is throwing it on my driveway."I don't even walk [the dogs] past her house I go the other way and I use doggy bags, there are other dogs in the neighbour lady."The woman came up with a plan which she "returned the favour" with a complaint letter.Sasha mentioned that she had reported to local police because of the neighbour's "repeated and deliberate acts of bitterness".She also expressed her concerns for her dogs' safety.Want to bring a little glamour to your life every day with all the most exciting real-life stories, fashion and even sex tips HOT off the press?Well, we've got you covered with our great new Hot Topics newsletter - it'll drop straight into your inbox around 7pm and you can unsubscribe whenever you like. And signing up now means you'll get a front row seat for our great new series inside the lives of the next generation of Daily Star Page 3 girls.You can sign up here - you won't regret it..."I took the opportunity to return the faeces to your property using my own doggy poo bags which you'd see me walking with IF I ever did actually walk down your direction in the street,"

Mystery scorpion 'discovered' in supermarket bananas creeps out TikTok viewers
TikTok – with many confessing they were put off the fruit for life.In the clip, uploaded by user @bugboy19, he is standing next to a crate of bananas that appears to be the temporary home of a creepy-crawly.Long black antennae are sticking out and, when the person zooms in, you can see the scorpion resting on top of one of the bunches of yellow fruit. The TikToker then picks up the bug and holds it under the camera, revealing it is dark brown and has six legs and a pair of powerful pinchers. He then puts the bug back on the bananas and weighs them, before paying for them at the self-service check out with the creature still on board as a stowaway. It's then carried home in a plastic shopping bag along with the bananas, presumably to live in captivity as part of the TikToker's impressive collection of exotic pets. The bug was identified by viewers as a whip scorpion, a fairly popular pet, and it seems unlikely it found its way onto the bananas without help."I love checking the new bananas for friends," said the TikToker in the caption of the video which has since been watched 1.5million times. One user commented: "Nope, nope, nope, nope. Don't want Bananas anymore.""That would have been the last time I showed up to buy bananas," admitted a second viewer, obviously not a fan of whip scorpions.A third commented: "The way you just weighed it with the bananas.""Yano...

Nuclear drama so terrifyingly real it 'f****d childhoods' not aired on BBC since 2003
Vladimir Putin and Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov dropping veiled threats about a potential nuclear confrontation over Ukraine, half-forgotten Cold War fears are starting to resurface for many people. For Eighties kids, those fears could be summed up in one single TV show: Threads. The night the showed first aired on BBC Two - September 23, 1984 - was referred to as "the night Britain didn't sleep", so harrowing was the show's portrayal of nuclear war's effects on Britain. The terrifying show was shown on the BBC once again the following year, before the tape was locked away until a BBC Four airing 18 years later. It was released on DVD and received a semi-cult status online, but there is no record of it airing anywhere on British TV since UKTV showed it for a final time in April 2005.And with nuclear war fears growing, BritBox quickly pulled it from their service last month after it was slammed for a poorly-timed release as tensions brewed in Ukraine.A new generation have been able to pick up on the show, though – posting clips to TikTok that they “can’t believe” were ever broadcast on TV.One upsetting scene was captioned “who as a kid had nightmares after watching this?” and a comment on another Threads excerpt read: “And to think they showed this in schools in the Eighties.
