Kate Winslet’s character replaced by a cat as Leonardo DiCaprio’s fluffy love interest in excellent Titanic spoof video
Leonardo DiCaprio, the parody version has already got thousands obsessed. The cleverly edited video shows Rose replaced by OwlKitty, the social media sensation who has made a cameo in many a spoof movie trailer on her YouTube account, which boasts 1.72million subscribers. In the latest brilliant edit, OwlKitty can be seen dancing with Jack, reaching out into the breeze at the front of the Titanic and even being ‘painted like one of his French girls’ in iconic scenes from the James Cameron movie. Rose can even be seen looking jealously at the drawing Jack has done of himself and the cat, as OwlKitty stands protectively beside her man.Who can blame her? The YouTube account was created by Thibault Charroppin and Olivia Boone from Portland, Oregon, who own two-year-old cat Lizzy, aka OwlKitty, and edit her into various famous films with the use of green screen. Lizzy is said to love playing with a laser pointer, eating cream cheese or hanging out with her adoptive mother who is a 10-year-old tabby cat, and has never caught a bird – probably because she was too busy acting. As well as Titanic, OwlKitty has also parodied a host of other famous movies, including Ghost, Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Shining, as well as taking on TV shows including Game Of Thrones and Stranger Things too. Got a story? If you’ve got a celebrity story, video or pictures get in touch with the Metro.co.uk entertainment team by emailing us our Submit Stuff page – we’d love to hear from you.
