Square Enix has confirmed that the next Final Fantasy 14 Letter from the Producer will take a look at the next 10 years of the MMO.Announcing in a new Lodestone blog post, the publisher revealed that the game’s director and producer Naoki Yoshida will be sharing information on what’s in store for the future of Final Fantasy 14.Yoshida will also be answering questions related to the recently released Endwalker expansion during the second half of the broadcast, meaning players can now submit their questions now on the game’s official forum.The next Letter from the Producer Live will take place on February 19 at 2 AM GMT (February 18 at 6 PM PST), and will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Niconico Live.The next Letter from the Producer LIVE is on its way!

Final Fantasy 7 Remake part two is set to be revealed sometime this year.During the Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary event held in Japan today (January 31), the game’s original director Yoshinori Kitase stated that he was going to reveal the first details about Remake part two during the event (thanks, VGC).“We are hard at work on Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, so please look forward to that. Ubisoft has added a memorial to Rainbow Six Siege that pays tribute to Michael ‘KiXSTAr’ Stockley, a caster and former professional Siege player who died in late 2021. Guerrilla Games has announced that Horizon Forbidden West has officially gone gold.The news comes from Twitter, where the developer shared the milestone and an in-game clip of a new character appearing in Forbidden West. Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus games for February and it’s a varied bunch, including EA Sports‘ UFC 4 and Planet Coaster.Available from February 1 for PS Plus subscribers come three titles as announced on the PlayStation blog. These include UFC 4 and Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure for PlayStation 4. For PlayStation 5 owners, there is also the addition of Planet Coaster: Console Edition.Subscribers have until February 28 to claim the games.

Overwatch Lunar New Year 2022 event is now live, and with it a selection of new cosmetics, weekly challenges, and event brawls are on offer.To mark the Chinese New Year (February 1) and the start of the Year of the Tiger, Overwatch is back with another Lunar New Year event, available to play now until February 15. Black Myth: Wukong has shared a light-hearted parody of the game’s development with fans, via a comedic trailer filled with bizarre in-game glitches and lots of cats with jobs.In a parody trailer called ‘Black Myth Wukong – an alternate reality of Game Science (New Year greetings)’, developer Game Science shares a look at the “alternate” process of making a game “for small teams like us”.While the trailer is nearly 13 minutes, it’s not all gameplay – in fact, much of the video seems to be a parody of Black Myth: Wukong‘s development.Paired with dramatic music, the alternate reality trailer shows Game Science bringing in plenty of cute cats to use for motion capturing – though also shares why they came with their own challenges.“Cats, big or small, are perfect predators. Square Enix has announced that the long-awaited Oceania data Center has officially launched in Final Fantasy 14.Releasing alongside patch 6.08, the Oceania data Center is to support a smoother play experience for all in the Oceania region and marks the first in a plan to expand the global server capacity, as well as combat congestion. The Data Center will be accessible for new character creation, with Home World Transfers being permitted from January 26.Five Worlds will be available at this time, with all Worlds being designated as “New Worlds”, meaning players who transfer to or create new characters on them will receive special bonuses, including:To celebrate the release of the new Data Center, the developer has released a new map of Australia and New Zealand in the style of the in-game world map.

FromSoftware’s hotly-anticipated open-world action RPG Elden Ring will take around 30 hours to complete, the game’s producer has said.Speaking at Taipei Game Show 2022 (as spotted by VGC), Elden Ring producer Yasuhiro Kitao said that “the idea is that the main route should be able to be completed within around 30 hours”. Stardew Valley mod lets players use a farming robot to complete their land activity chores.The Farmtronics mod, which was created by JoeStrout, adds a “Farmtronics Home Computer” to the tv in the player’s farmhouse. After installing, players can choose from a list of channels on the TV and the computer will appear, ready to fulfil its demands.Players can use the built-in help command to learn how to use it, as well as the “toDo” command which suggests a series of tasks.

In a tweet, they said, “The global release of the Project_Hel DLC will be delayed to March 3. We appreciate your understanding and want all our fans to know that we will use this bonus time to make even more worthwhile improvements while ensuring the health & safety of our team and global partners.”The Ghostrunner DLC will let players take control of Hel, one of the bosses from the original game.

Genshin Impact update 2.4 has been detailed by developer miHoYo, and a release date has also been announced.The details come from a PlayStation Blog post published on December 26, which states that the 2.4 update for the free-to-play title is launching on January 5 next year.“As New Year is also approaching in the world of Teyvat, we’d like to invite you to Liyue’s Lantern Rite,” reads the post.
