Royal Blood have announced two intimate warm-up shows ahead of their upcoming UK and European tour.The shows will take place at Nottingham’s Rock City on May 26 and Newcastle’s O2 City Hall on June 21 – giving fans the chance to see the band in a more intimate setting before they play a series of festivals and stadium support slots with Muse this summer.Both of the newly announced venues have a capacity of approximately 2,000, with tickets on sale on sale from 10am this Thursday (April 6) and available here.The duo – which is comprised of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher – will then embark on a series of live performances throughout the UK and Europe throughout the summer. Muse frontman and longtime Rage Against the Machine fan Matt Bellamy has described an experience at one of the band’s recent reunion shows in which his inner fanboy jumped out.Speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe during a recent interview about Muse’s new album, ‘Will of the People’, Bellamy discussed how seeing other bands play throughout their career had made them a better live act.“We’ve learned from, in my opinion, the best. Muse’s Matt Bellamy has responded to the scientific discovery of an actual Supermassive Black Hole.Earlier today (May 12), scientists shared the first ever image of the black hole at the centre of the galaxy.The picture is the first time the supermassive black hole at the heart of the Milky Way – known as Sagittarius A* – has been seen.Researchers described the black hole as “the glue that holds the galaxy together” and one of the co-authors on the new papers, Ziri Younsi from University College London said the discovery was “key to our understanding of how the Milky Way formed and will evolve in the future.”Now, Muse frontman Bellamy has responded to the discovery, sharing an image of the supermassive black hole on his Instagram.
