Machine Gun Kelly and Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes debuted a new song that appears to be called ‘Maybe’ in LA on Friday (March 4).The two musicians made an appearance at the long-running club night Emo Nite at the Avalon in Hollywood.Fan-shot footage shows Kelly and Sykes on stage at the event as an unreleased song played over the PA. The pair sang along to parts of the song, which includes lines like “I think I’m broken, nothing can fix me” and “Made up my mind this evening, I’m taking the last, I’m taking the last.”“We love you guys,” Kelly told the audience when the song ended.

BandLab NME Awards 2022 award winners Bring Me The Horizon are due to stage their own festival in Malta in May – an event they’ve said will be “like Fyre Festival but with better sandwiches”.The Sheffield band were speaking to NME from the winner’s room after picking up the trophy for Best Band From The UK Supported By Pizza Express.Bring Me’s Malta festival, announced last November, will take place from May 26-30 and feature a full live show and an exclusive retrospective set from the band.Discussing what to expect from the event, drummer Mat Nicholls promised “bingo with Jordan Fish [BMTH keys player]. Iggy Pop and Bring Me The Horizon have both cancelled a number of their respective scheduled live shows following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last week.Iggy was due to perform a headline show at the Park Live festival in Moscow on July 10 alongside Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.Sharing an update on Twitter today (March 1), promotors Solo Music Agency confirmed that Iggy’s appearance at the event will no longer go ahead.“In light of current events, this is necessary,” an official statement reads. “Our thoughts are with the Ukrainians and all the brave people who oppose this violence and seek peace.”You can see that announcement below.The festival appearance of @IggyPop in Moscow on the 10th of July 2022 is cancelled.

Bring Me The Horizon‘s recent ‘Post Human’ arena tour succeeded in reducing carbon emissions by 38 per cent, emphasising that such changes to touring are possible.Taking place from September 20-26, the tour saw the band take a more sustainable approach to touring, the results of which have now been detailed in a report by AGF.According to the report, the reductions were achieved by using renewable fuel for trucks, plant-based meals, food waste reduction and energy efficient equipment. The tour also banned plastic bottles, relying on back of house and tour bus water coolers, which resulted in the prevention of 3322 plastic bottles being used.The band invested in making recommended changes, while Raw Power Management, United Talent Agency (UTA), Promoter Kilimanjaro, and The O2 (the venue for the London leg of the tour) shared the cost of sustainability implementation advice and tour impact audit.Matt Ash of Raw Power Management said: “Working with an artist in BMTH and a tour production team that was fully behind the approach to sustainable touring was something that we absolutely endorsed and are keen to implement on all future touring whenever possible.”Claire O’Neill, CEO of AGF, added: “During the pandemic, the touring music industry came together on the important topic of sustainability.
