Bring Me The Horizon are celebrating one billion streams, and are on course to top the UK album charts.The Sheffield rockers were confirmed as having hit the first milestone yesterday (October 1), when they revealed that they had surpassed one billion streams in the UK. To mark the occasion, frontman Oli Sykes was presented with a Billion Award by the BRITs.Taking to X/Twitter to mark the landmark occasion, the BRITs posted a photo of the frontman with the trophy along with the caption: “Following their first ever BRIT Awards win earlier in the year for Best Rock/Alternative Act, @bmthofficial receive their BRIT Billion Award for hitting one billion streams in the UK.”It comes as no surprise that the band managed to achieve the award this year, as their latest studio album ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’ arrived in May and went on to become one of their biggest releases to date.

Bring Me The Horizon have released physical versions of their latest album ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’ and announced details for global pop-up events.The band – comprised of Oli Sykes, Matt Nicholls, Lee Malia and Matt Kean – have released their seventh studio LP on four different vinyl pressings including a 2xLP standard black pressing as well as a red pressing and picture disc. A deluxe version of the LP will also be available on a 2xLP marble pressing and will feature a 32 YOUtopia game booklet, printed OBI strip, folded band poster and a hype sticker.In addition to the vinyl pressings, a standard and deluxe CD will be available as well as a pink cassette variant and a white cassette variant.

Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot, Biffy Clyro, Sleep Token and more have been announced as performers for Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park 2025.The twin German festivals are set to take place between June 6-8, 2025 in Nürburgrung and Nürnberg. Other acts set to grace the stages include the likes of A Day To Remember, Lorna Shore, The Ghost Inside, The Warning, K.I.Z, Beatsteaks, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, IDLES, Jinjer and Powerwolf.Tickets for the festivals are currently on sale now.

Blending rock and pop-punk, the track sees Halsey exploring themes of self-worth and trying to fit in.The song was first previewed by Halsey during her headlining set at both Budapest’s Sziget Festival and Helsinki’s Flow Festival this summer.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith has attempted to play along to one of Bring Me The Horizon’s tracks as he heard it for the first time. Check it out below.The attempt took place as the funk rock drummer appeared on the latest episode of Drumeo’s ongoing For The First Time series – which sees famous faces come into the studio and attempt to immediately play a song as they hear it for the first time.Smith has already taken part in the series once before, and quickly proved that he has a seemingly limitless comfort zone as he played Thirty Seconds to Mars’ hit single ‘The Kill’ close to perfectly on the first attempt.Now, just shy of a year later, he has taken on the challenge once again, this time putting his own spin on Bring Me The Horizon’s hit track ‘Can You Feel My Heart?’.Sitting at the kit as the song begins to play, Smith quickly confirmed that, not only had he not heard the song before, but he didn’t recognise the band responsible for the TikTok-dominating hit either.“What the fuck is this?” he asks, hearing the opening synth lead and going on to find a tribal-inspired rhythm that matches the song’s tempo.While an alternate approach to that of what Mat Nicholl put down in the original studio recording, the improvised take by Smith still fits perfectly in the track and saw the drummer push far out of his usual style.

Bring Me The Horizon donned corpse paint for a performance at a festival in Finland – check out the footage below.The Sheffield rockers played at the Tuska festival in Helsinki, Finland, on Saturday (June 29), one of the biggest metal festivals in the Nordic region. Attendees could sit in a chair and let professional make-up artists give them a look fit for the festival, and the same team worked on Bring Me The Horizon’s corpse paint, too.“In the festival area you can refresh your own corpse masks too at the Tuska Expo’s loft in Kattilahalli by Ulottuvuusmatkat Oy,” Tuska said while the festival was on.
