House Of Protection: Former Fever 333 members and Jordan Fish talk launching a “new era”

Fever 333 members Aric Improta and Stephen “Stevis” Harrison have launched their new band House Of Protection with the Jordan Fish-produced debut single ‘It’s Supposed To Hurt’. Check it out below, along with our exclusive interview with the three friends.Improta (also of Night Verses) and Harrison (formerly of The Chariot) announced their departure from Fever 333 back in October 2022, citing inner band tension and “creative differences” but vowing to work together in the future. Now they’re back as a duo, having signed to Red Bull Records to unleash the pummelling debut single ‘It’s Supposed To Hurt’ – showcasing their blend of punk, electronic music and hardcore.“‘It’s Supposed To Hurt’ was the first song we wrote together,” Harrison told NME.

Bring Me The Horizon have won Best Band From The UK Supported by Pizza Express at the BandLab NME Awards 2022.The Sheffield band were up against CHVRCHES, Glass Animals, Nova Twins and Wolf Alice for the title.While collecting the award on stage from Ivorian Doll and Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes said: “We didn’t think we were gonna win owt, so I don’t know what to say!He added: “Our first album got two out of 10 in NME, so… follow your dreams!”Bring Me The Horizon are also up for two other categories tonight at the BandLab NME Awards 2022: Best Band In The World and Best Live Act Supported by Grolsch.BMTH are also expected to close out the ceremony with a multi-song set, which follows on from their memorable outing at the NME Awards in 2016 when they smashed through Coldplay’s table during their performance.Speaking to NME earlier about their return to the Awards, frontman Oli Sykes said: “To be honest we’re surprised we’ve even been asked back at all! Bring Me The Horizon have shared an instrumental version of ‘Moon Over Castle’, which appears on the new soundtrack for Gran Turismo 7 – check it out here.The cover of the theme from the Gran Turismo franchise will appear on the official soundtrack for Gran Turismo 7, ‘Find Your Line’. It will be available from March 4 via Columbia Records and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.Other artists on the soundtrack include Rosalía, Major Lazer, Nothing but Thieves, Fanatix, Kim Dracula, London Grammar, Jawsh685, Lous and the Yakuza, Lil Tjay and Disciples.You can listen to the song via the visualiser below which showcases the Willow Springs course of Gran Turismo 7.Earlier this month, Bring Me The Horizon rescheduled their 2022 European tour to the same month in 2023 due to ongoing uncertainties around the COVID pandemic.The metal band’s tour, which is in support of their latest release, the 2020 EP ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’, was due to kick off in Antwerp, Belgium on February 1.But the band announced on social media that the 18-date tour has been postponed to next year. “We want to bring you the whole show with no holding back – the true Post Human experience – but we need to do it safely,” they wrote in explaining the decision to move the tour.Several of the original venues had to be altered to accommodate the new dates.
