BABYMETAL have released a collaborative new single featuring Poppy – listen to ‘From Me To U’ below.The song will appear on the Japanese kawaii metal band’s fifth studio album ‘Metal Forth’, which is due to arrive on June 13 via Capitol Records (pre-order/pre-save here).Speaking about their thunderous, post-hardcore new track, the group described ‘From Me To U’ as “a kawaii metal song [that] was born from a collaboration between BABYMETAL and Poppy”.They added: “Check out Poppy’s shouts and BABYMETAL’s dance in the Neo Tokyo setting! Kawaii is sprinkled throughout the intense sound! Kimi ni todoke!”Poppy explained: “I have been a fan of BABYMETAL for years and I am so happy for this song to finally be here! They have inspired me so much, enjoy ‘From Me To U’!”The single is accompanied by a high-concept official video, starring Poppy. It also sees BABYMETAL unleash their signature choreography among “a futuristic world teetering on the edge of destruction”.Towards the end of the visuals, Poppy makes an explosive transformation into a dragon – emerging amongst the surrounding fire and carnage, as BABYMETAL dance their way through the disaster.

BABYMETAL have announced a UK and European tour for 2025 – you can find all the details below.The Japanese kawaii metal band are due to bring their full arena tour overseas for the first time next year, with Poppy and Bambie Thug appearing as special guests.“In 2025, BABYMETAL will enter a new era,” a statement from the Fox God reads. “The METALVERSE will expand and we will travel to a world we have never experienced, with new songs.”The upcoming tour is scheduled to visit arenas in Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Barcelona, Paris and other European cities throughout May.

Bad Omens are teaming up with BABYMETAL for a huge show together later this summer.The bands will perform a co-headline date at France’s 11,000-capacity Zénith Toulouse Métropole on June 23. Babymetal have announced a new collaboration with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello titled ‘METALI!!’.The track marks the first new song by the newly reborn group which now consists of Su-Metal, Moametal and Momometal. Babymetal have announced details of a new album called ‘The Other One’, bringing their hiatus to an end.Last year, the band celebrated celebrated their 10-year anniversary, announcing in August 2021 that they would “disappear from our sight” later in the year.It was in April of this year that the band resurfaced, teasing today’s date (October 10) in a Twitter video that said: “On Oct. 10, 2021, a decade after Babymetal descended upon this earth, their 10-year-old legend was sealed from the world.“Fossilised metal spirits left the dystopian world where chaos still continues and are still in the midst of traveling the Metal Galaxy.

Babymetal are releasing a set of limited edition trading cards as an NFT.The pack will be available via a WAX Blockchain for 72 hours from May 6 here and will cost £71.70 ($100) each.There will be 1000 packs in total, with 10 trading cards in each.
