Harry and Meghan Netflix fears mean 'ring of steel' formed around Queen, expert says
Queen in case Prince Harry and Meghan Markle bring a filming crew with them when they attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. After months of speculation, Harry and Meghan have confirmed that they will be flying over from California with their children Archie and Lilibet to celebrate the Queen reaching 70 years on the throne in June. The couple did not announce whether they will be working on the trip, but after Harry was followed by a Netflix crew on a trip to the Hague, some commentators have suggested that royals are worried the couple may pull a “stunt”.Now, speaking to Today Australia, the Daily Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers noted that any close filming of the Queen for Harry and Meghan’s Netflix deals is unlikely.Despite recent health scares and increasingly common cancellations of public appearances, Russell stressed that the Queen remains the “boss” of the monarchy.“It’s still a sad state of affairs, I do desperately feel for the Queen having to make these sort of decisions at 96 years of age, having given her life to the country, the Commonwealth, indeed the world, and her whole family is imploding around her,” he suggested. And, the royal commentator claimed that this would make it unlikely that the Queen would feature heavily in any documentary project Harry and Meghan might film while visiting the UK for the Jubilee celebrations.“There is an absolute ring of steel around the Queen in terms of her advisors.

Lewis Hamilton set for 'nasty' battle with Formula One chiefs and could miss Monaco GP
Formula One chiefs regarding the strict rules regarding wearing jewellery in the cockpit risks getting 'nasty' and may see the Mercedes driver miss the Monaco Grand Prix, Sky Sports' Ted Kravitz has said.New race director Niels Wittich is applying regulations around jewellery extremely strictly and issued a note to teams about the rules on the Thursday ahead of the Miami Grand Prix - something that Hamilton criticised in his pre-race comments. In a clear message to the governing body, Hamilton attended the pre-race press conference covered in bling, including three watches, and hinted that he'd be prepared to miss the race - though he did adhere to regulations and remove his earrings. Removal of two more piercings, however, were more complicated and Hamilton was granted a two-race exemption period preventing him from receiving punishment but the British driver has made it clear he wants exemptions for the entirety of the season. That puts Hamilton and the FIA on a collision course for the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of the month, where the driver's current exemption period expires, and could even put his participation in Monte Carlo in doubt.“He’s taken his earrings out but he can’t take out his nose [stud] and we thought he was going to have minor surgery to take out the nose [stud]," Kravitz said on his Ted's Notebook programme on Sky Sports.
