Sylvester Stallone is taking on a new role as leading man in a scripted television series.The three-time Oscar nominee has been tabbed to play a mob boss in the upcoming Paramount+ drama, Kansas City, fromTaylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) and Terence Winter (The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire), according to Deadline.This will mark the first time that the Rocky and Rambo actor has ever starred in the lead role of a TV series during his 50-plus-year career in show business, dating back to 1968.
