As the UK recovers from a week of battering from three different storms, the weather across the country should begin to mellow out somewhat.
But, the arrival of Storm Gladys could lead to heavy snow and wind all across Greater Manchester. The Met Office has issued multiple yellow weather warnings for parts of northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland today. And parts of Greater Manchester will be hit by heavy snow on Thursday, with travel operators warning people to expect delays.
Manchester Piccadilly tweeted: "Heavy snowfall is forecast tomorrow morning in the Manchester area. Please check for latest travel updates on National Rail enquiries before you set off from home.
