A supermarket worker has pleaded with the public to be kinder to employees when out shopping. In a social media appeal, they asked people to be more respectful when buying their groceries from major stores, and not be rude to staff.
Their plea was made in a post on the United Kingdom subreddit, and quickly went viral, MEN reports. It was inundated with responses from around the country, with other supermarket workers also commenting on their frustration, especially when it comes to people being confrontational or refusing to wear masks, reports LancsLive.
The post titled 'I wish people were more respectful of supermarket workers' was made by u/Disguustang and outlined their experiences working with ill-mannered customers.
