Strictly Come Dancing fans were left divided on Saturday night (16 November), and it had nothing to do with the dancers. As the celebrities graced the iconic Blackpool Tower dancefloor with a Cha Cha Cha and Paso Doble, viewers at home couldn't help but comment on the music choices.
As always, a live band brought the songs to life on Strictly, and the celebs put on some showstopping performances, with a nod to Jamie Borthwick's love for chips and Pete Wicks' pink latex trousers.
Bringing their routines to life, some of the hits included The Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup, I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred, and Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.
One viewer was left unimpressed by the music as they wrote on Facebook: "The band tonight are not doing any of these dancers any favours!" Sparking up a conversation online, one responded: "The band are good, it's the song choices that are crap." Another added: "Yes, I agree with that." More jumped to defend the band and put it down to the music choices as another said: "It's not the band's fault that the music is bad.They don't choose it." A second commented: "I think Dave Arch and the singers are absolutely wonderful." "You can't blame the band, they are fantastic, it's the poor choice of song that is the problem," a third noted.
