Get Me Out Of Here! star Scarlette Douglas believes Maura Higgins' stint in the jungle could spark an official relationship with Pete Wicks.In a recent admission on the show, Maura, 34, admitted she was "seeing someone" before entering the camp, but claimed things were not official.While she didn't named Pete, 36, specifically, the pair have been spotted out together on many occasions but both have claimed that they are single.

In a discussion with GK Barry about keeping their romance under wraps, she said: "What’s the point in getting them [the media] involved too soon, when you just don’t know where it’s gonna go, you know?"Maura went on to say that despite attempts to try and keep their romance quiet, they had been pictured with their "tongues down each other's necks".While the pair are yet to make things official, Scarlette believes this could soon change once the pair reunite in the UK after weeks of no contact.

Speaking to Reach PLC, via Sky Vegas, she said: “What a good-looking couple [Maura and Pete are]. Personality wise, they'd be brilliant together – I'm loving Maura."Anytime I've seen her at events, she's just been super humble and down to earth – and every time I've met him, he's been exactly the same."With this in mind, Scarlette believes the pair becoming official "would make a fantastic romance story"."If they were to come out and say that they were dating properly, everyone would be behind it, because everyone loves the two of them," she added.“I'd like to hope that absence is making the heart grow fonder, and I'd like to hope that they will become an official couple that we all get to see.”After Maura opened up about her romance in the jungle, Pete encouraged his Instagram
