Steve Buscemi Recalls Suffering From PTSD After Volunteering At Ground Zero On 9/11

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] Steve Buscemi opened up about the post-traumatic stress disorder he experienced from volunteering with the New York Fire Department during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

In case you didn’t know, the 63-year-old was a member of Engine Company No. 55 in Manhattan’s Little Italy neighborhood between 1980 to 1984 before becoming a world-renowned actor.

And when planes crashed into the World Trade Center in 2001, Buscemi joined his old firehouse and first responders in helping to search for survivors at Ground Zero.
