Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Steps star Faye Tozer's mum has lung cancer 2 years after breast cancer diagnosis

Steps hitmaker Faye Tozer's mum Dorothy has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The singer's mother - who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 - was told in December by doctors that she had cancer on her lungs following a scan after suffering with respiratory problems.

The mother and daughter shared the devastating health diagnosis with OK! magazine, with Dorothy explaining that medical professionals discovered growing cancer on the left lung, then a smaller, different cancer on the right lung.

In March, Dorothy had an operation to remove the cancer in the left lung and last week she underwent CyberKnife treatment, a robotic radiotherapy procedure, to help the right lung.
