So far, police have recovered approximately four kilograms of Class A drugs and 30 unspent shot gun cartridges, which have been submitted for forensic evidence for ongoing investigations as part of GMP’s Operation Naseby set up to dismantle organised crime groups in Salford.

None of the incidents caused serious or life-threatening injuries but officers are carrying extensive inquiries into each. Yesterday morning (Thursday 19 November) a 39-year-old man was reported to be at hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot after an incident on Cromwell.
