St Johnstone have demanded an investigation into why the club's Saturday afternoon kick-off was postponed with under two hours' notice.
The Saints made the Tayside trip to Tannadice to face Dundee United but had to turn around and head home after a pitch inspection from referee Colin Steven at 1.15pm ahead of the 3pm kick-off.
The away side fully expected the ground's undersoil heating to remedy the frozen pitch issue. The SPFL rescheduled the match later in the afternoon and it's now pencilled in for a 6.30pm kick-off on Tuesday, January 12.
But the visitors weren't satisfied and the Perth club's head of football operations Kirsten Robertson highlighted their concern.
