Spike Lee did not take kindly to the recent comments made by President Trump's adviser Jared Kushner concerning Black people being successful in America.
The Oscar-winning director visitedSiriusXM’s The Joe Madison Show on Friday and proceeded to speak his mind afterKushner (also Trump's son-in-law) said earlier in the week on Fox & Friends that Trump can help African Americans"break out of the problems that they're complaining about, but he can’t want them to be successful more than they want to be successful." Lee began, "Look, I am so tired of white folks telling us what we need to do.
How could this guy, how could this punk ass, say what Black folks need to do? It's like there wasn't 400 years of slavery, systematic racism.
