Many supporters were frustrated to see Amad, 18, and Shoretire, 17 among the substitutes, with midfielder Galbraith, 19, also on the bench.
But Solskjaer said the trio could get on - and not just if United are cruising through. Speaking to MUTV before the game, he explained his team selections. "It's a hope you're going to give them time when it's enjoyable but they might be needed," said.
